Sales Estimator

As an exceptional leader in the restoration industry, J.C. Restoration, Inc. (JCR) of Rolling Meadows, IL is expanding our reconstruction division and seeking a Sales Estimator candidate. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for managing their team, selling jobs, estimating and writing reconstruction projects, ensure pricing and all replacement materials are accurate along with certifying that every line item is insurance approved.

The duties listed below are the responsibility of the Sales Estimator, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently achieve a high degree of profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Review, proof and finalize all scopes with clients.
  • Review completed files for profitability and accuracy of the original scope.
  • Accessible for on-call duty as regularly assigned.
  • Develop scope of work and pricing for reconstruction projects resulting from water intrusion, fire, mold and wind damage.
  • Produce a detailed estimate to sell to insurance adjusters and homeowners and for the use of restoring the property to pre-loss condition.
  • Responsible for providing detailed file documentation and all signed correspondence to administrative staff.
  • Meet sales goals and actively market for new leads.

To be considered for the Sales Estimator position, a good understanding of property insurance and coverage is required. In addition, proficiency in Xactimate is a must. The ideal candidate must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
